Green Paw Trail supports the work of Freedom Frenchie Rescue, an Arizona-based foster rescue focused on French Bulldogs and other bulldogs needing a second chance.
Rather than operating from a traditional shelter building, Freedom Frenchie Rescue relies on foster homes. That means dogs live with volunteers while the rescue learns more about their needs, coordinates care, and prepares them for adoption.
Why foster-based rescue matters
A foster home gives a rescue dog a chance to decompress in a real household environment. It also gives the rescue more information about routine, behavior, comfort, and what kind of home may be the best fit.
Because each dog is different, the rescue asks adopters to read the individual profile carefully rather than choosing only by appearance or age.
Where to see dogs that are currently available
The Freedom Frenchie Rescue website is the source of truth for currently adoptable dogs. Dogs seen on social media may not be ready to apply for yet, so always start with the official Adopt page.

How the adoption process works
The rescue uses an application and review process designed to help match each dog with an appropriate home. Current process details, requirements, fees, and next steps can change, so Green Paw does not duplicate the application itself.

Interested in fostering?
Freedom Frenchie Rescue depends on foster homes and volunteers. Their current foster expectations and availability are maintained on the rescue's own website so prospective fosters can review the latest requirements directly.
Green Paw's role
Green Paw Trail does not operate the rescue or make adoption decisions. Our role is to help more people discover the rescue, share useful dog-care and travel resources, and point visitors to Freedom Frenchie Rescue's current information.
When we feature rescue dogs or stories, we use information supplied by or published by Freedom Frenchie Rescue and encourage readers to verify current status on the rescue's website before applying.
